Diedrich announces two new items
In April of 2005 Diedrich Manufacturing announced the debut of two new machines to enhance the world of coffee.
The IR- Series DCO - Catalytic Oxidizer helps to lower operating costs, is energy efficient, reduces fuel useage by operating at lower temperatures, is environmentally friendly and offers a smaller footprint than a conventional afterburner.
The Diedrich HR-1 Home Roaster is a wonderful addition to the Diedrich Roaster line. Small and compact it is at home in a coffee business or in the residence of a passionate coffee afficiando. This state-of-the-art machine offers Plug-and-Play Controls, and Time, Temperature and Air Controls.
Both machines are built with the famous Diedrich Quality Craftsmanship and are ready for purchase now.
Diedrich family chosen for SCAA's 2005 Lifetime Achievement award
It is with great pleasure that Diedrich family announces they been chosen as the 2005 winner of the SCAA's Lifetime Achievement award for “your family's unique contribution to specialty coffee.”
The SCAA's (Specialty Coffee Association of America) Lifetime Achievement award was awarded in recognition of general career excellence, including inspiration, direction and leadership. Presented to one whose positive influence transcends the limits of "Company" and "Profit" per se, and whose work inspires others to contribute their best efforts toward attaining the "Specialty Coffee Ideal" to provide consumers with the finest cup of coffee in the world.
The Award will be presented on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the SCAA 17th Annual Trade Show in Seattle at the SCAA Awards Reception.
