• 3 November 2009 - CLARIFICATION - Diedrich Coffee is NOT Diedrich Manufacturing!
  Announced today was Peet's Coffee's acquisition of Diedrich Coffee. This in no way impacts Diedrich Manufacturing the premiere manufacturer of coffee roasting equipment. These 2 Diedrich companies have always been separate entities. In fact, Martin Diedrich's relationship with Diedrich Coffee dissolved years ago. As a result, Martin has returned to his roots with opening several Kéan Coffee locations in Southern California. His brother, Stephan Diedrich, and the founder of Diedrich Manufacturing, Inc. (the roasting equipment manufacturer), is alive, well and fortunate to be experiencing great growth in such a turbulent economy. Specialty coffee consumption is increasing globally with specific growth in the wholesale roasting segment.
